Hakeem Jeffries’ SCOTUS Hypocrisy

On Monday, House Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries stated that the Senate must treat President Biden’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, with dignity and respect.

Where was that respect from Jeffries when Justice Brett Kavanaugh was being considered?

Jeffries didn’t stop there as he has continued to spew falsities once those nominees were confirmed in an open attack on the legitimacy of the Supreme Court because as he claims Republicans “stole” two seats on the Supreme Court.

Bottom line: The dignity and respect Hakeem Jeffries is calling for today was nowhere to be found during Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings. When combined with his statements questioning the legitimacy of the U.S. Supreme Court itself, Jeffries’ blatant hypocrisy continues to be a liability for House Democrats.
