“I promise we’re going to have your back,” Biden told Louisiana residents nearly a week after Hurricane Ida ravaged the gulf coast.

However, many Louisianians — who are still without power, running water, gas, cell service, and food — are not buying it.

“I just don’t want to cry anymore. I’m tired. Yep, and burning up at night. You know, you wake up and feel like you’re in hell.”

“It turned into a nightmare.I mean, no gas is anywhere.”

“Our supplies are running low on water, and there’s no stores open. And if you have to go to the store, you have to drive at least an hour away.”

“When we gotta use the bathroom, we gotta come fill the bucket up to flush the toilet because no, we can’t flush the toilet.”

We need help. We need somebody to come. We need them to come over here. We need FEMA. We need Red Cross. We need the officials to come.”

Instead of helping those impacted by the storm, Joe Biden is more concerned about helping Democrat ally Gavin Newsom save his own political career.

Bottom line: While Joe Biden enjoyed the rest of his Labor Day weekend from the comfort of his home in Delaware, Hurricane Ida victims languished without access to basic services. It’s no wonder they have such little faith in the president’s ability to help them through this time of crisis.
