Joe Biden Falsely Claims To Be An Ivy League Professor

Joe Biden’s presidential campaign has been an endless stream of gaffes, misstatements, and flat-out lies. That trend continued on Wednesday when Biden told an 18-year-old student that he was previously an Ivy League Professor, despite never teaching a single class.

The Washington Times: “In fact, Mr. Biden was given an honorary-professor position one week after he left the vice president’s office in 2017. (He also misstated the time of his becoming the first ‘Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor,’ as he left the Senate in 2009 to become vice president.)

He was neither supposed to nor did he ever teach a class, according to his own spokesperson and multiple Philadelphia media accounts.”

This isn’t the first time Biden has inflated his academic credentials. As noted by The Times, his 1987 presidential campaign was marred by plagiarism accusations and he often claimed to have graduated in the top half of his law school class.

The Associated Press found that claim to be false as well, and reported that “records indicate he finished near the bottom.” Biden then admitted he lied, stating “I did not graduate in the top half of my class at law school and my recollection of this was inaccurate.”

Biden, who has a penchant for challenging people to IQ tests for questioning his fitness for office, also previously claimed to have attended law school on a full academic scholarship. That was found to be false as well.
