Joe Biden’s Bizarre Night in Baltimore

98 days after his last press conference and 64 days following his disastrous sit-down with ABC, Joe Biden finally decided to answer an extended set of questions. However, the event was filled with so many blunders, Biden’s own staff had to fact-check him in real time.

In case you missed it, here are the most notable moments from Thursday night’s town hall:

Biden said he has yet to visit the southern border because he hasn’t ‘had a whole hell of a lot of time’ but proceeded to admit he ‘should go down’

The most baffling moment of the night was when Joe Biden used his busy schedule as an excuse for having not yet visited the southern border. Ironically enough, the president has managed to find enough time to spend twice as many weekends in Delaware than at the White House and will be there again this weekend.

Biden: “I’ve been there before and I haven’t, I mean I know it well. I guess I should go down but the whole point of it is I haven’t had a whole hell of a lot of time to get down. I’ve been spending time going around looking at the $900 billion worth of damage done by hurricanes and floods and weather and traveling around the world.”

Biden admitted he has no plan to significantly reduce gas prices

When asked about the 7-year-high gas prices Americans are facing at the pump, Biden said he doesn’t see an immediate solution nor did he have any real ideas besides blaming OPEC.

Biden: “My guess is you’ll start to see gas prices come down as we get by and going into next year in 2022. I don’t see anything that’s going to happen in the meantime that’s going to significantly reduce gas prices.”

Clean up on aisle five: White House officials were forced to clarify multiple Biden comments in real time

From the supply chain to corporate tax hikes to foreign policy, Biden had several lines that forced White House officials to quickly email reporters and negate the president’s statements.

Whitney Robertson, America Rising PAC Press Secretary: “Last night’s town hall confirmed what we’ve been saying for months: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have a serious competence problem that is hurting Americans at every turn.”
