In attempt to quell criticism from climate activists, Joe Biden introduced a $5 trillion climate change plan that calls for zero net carbon emissions by 2050. However, this plan is still not aggressive enough for the progressive base.
SF Gate: “’It showed a lack of ambition or understanding about the true crisis that we’re in,’ Erich Pica, president of Friends of the Earth Action, an environmental group, said of the proposals mentioned in the Reuters story. ‘If that was a trial balloon, it was shot down.’”
Joe Biden is still feeling the heat from the far-left despite the fact that his climate change proposal “features ideas highlighted by other candidates” and plagiarizes climate groups:
