Virginia gubernatorial candidate Tom Perriello is looking to become to the Bernie Sanders of Virginia. Already Perriello has publicized a flip-flop on the government funding of abortion. Now Perriello is going out of his way to embrace Obamacare.
Speaking this weekend in Richmond, Perriello bragged that he voted for Obamacare twice, and made the extreme statement that he wished the public option had become law:
Obamacare premiums are set to rise by an average of 10% in Virginia in 2017. Perriello’s Sanders impression might help him with some extreme voters, but most Virginians know how much of a failure Obamacare is.
