Study: Joe Biden’s Policies Would Devastate the American Economy

Since announcing his third presidential campaign, Joe Biden has released a set of policy proposals which he proudly proclaimed would make him “the most progressive president in history.”

A new report from the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget analyzed those policies and confirmed Biden’s claim, revealing the extent of the damage his “progressive” agenda would inflict on the economy. The bipartisan organization’s study concluded that taxes on American families would skyrocket by nearly $4 trillion while slowing economic growth.

Committee For a Responsible Federal Budget: “Vice President Biden’s tax plan would raise between $3.35 trillion and $3.67 trillion over a decade if enacted in full starting in 2021, or 1.3 to 1.4 percent of GDP … The Biden tax plan would moderately slow the pace of economic growth and possibly labor supply by discouraging work and capital accumulation.”

Joe Biden lurched to the left throughout the Democratic primary, embracing far-left proposals such as the Green New Deal and placing radical liberals in prominent positions within his campaign. As a result, his agenda is far more liberal than Hillary Clinton’s and American workers will pay the price.
