Supply Chain Woes Continue to Grow

The United States is facing an unprecedented supply chain crisis that the Biden Administration refuses to accept responsibility for.

Since January, we have known that supply chain woes had the potential to create a crisis. However, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and the rest of the Biden Administration ignored the problem in order to focus on spending trillions of American taxpayer dollars on their reckless tax-and-spend agenda.

Now, as a result of this administration’s incompetence,  hundreds of thousands of shipping containers full of food, medical supplies, raw materials, and more are floating in the ocean waiting to be unloaded.

Fox Business: “As of Monday, 100 ships are at anchor and 57 are at berths as the U.S. grapples to find a solution to the situation.”

CNN Business: “Approximately 200,000 shipping containers remain on ships off the coast of Los Angeles on Monday as pandemic-related gridlock continues to disrupt various supply chains, according to Gene Seroka, the executive director of the Port of Los Angeles.”

Business Insider: “As the global economic recovery continues to gather steam, what is increasingly apparent is how it will be stymied by supply-chain disruptions that are now showing up at every corner,” it said.

New York Post: “I never imagined that we’d be here in October 2021 talking about supply-chain problems, but it’s a reality,” Sankaran said.

The Seattle Times: “We are seeing unprecedented times in the global supply chain,” said John Wolfe, CEO of The Northwest Seaport Alliance, which oversees container traffic for both the Port of Seattle and Port of Tacoma.

CNBC: “The issue is now looming large ahead of Christmas, too, and last week, White House officials told Reuters that Americans could face higher prices and sparser shelves this festive season with the Biden administration trying to alleviate blockages at ports.”

Despite port problems across the nation, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says that his state’s ports are open.

DeSantis states, “We in Florida have the ability to help alleviate the logjams and help ameliorate the problems with the supply chain,” he said. “Part of it is because we’ve long been committed to reliable, modern and accessible port facilities.”

Kristen Bennett, America Rising, House Press Secretary: “This crisis is a direct result of the lack of action from the Biden Administration. Their concerns are elsewhere as shelves sit empty in supermarkets, children go without proper school lunches, and Christmas has the potential to be grim due to a lack of toys for the holiday season.”
