Joe Biden continued his apology tour this evening as he prepares for his nascent presidential campaign. This time he was discussing the Anita Hill hearings and again claimed that he has apologized to her for the committee’s handling of her hearing – a committee he chaired.
In November 2017, Anita Hill said Biden had not taken “ownership” of his role in the hearings. He used similar nuanced language in his remarks this evening as well:
