Elizabeth Warren announced today that she wants to break up big tech companies like Amazon and Facebook. But when Amazon was considering Boston for the location of HQ2, Warren welcomed the tech giant with open arms.

Elizabeth Warren announced that she wants to break up big tech companies like Amazon and Facebook. But when Amazon was considering Boston for the location of HQ2, Warren welcomed the tech giant with open arms. In November 2018, Warren said Boston “would’ve been a good opportunity for Amazon, but they blew it.”
Amazon workers in Minnesota went on strike in conjunction with the company’s two-day ‘Prime Day’ sales event. Warren supported the strike in a tweet on the morning the strike started.
