What You Need to Know: Val Demings

Like most Democrats running in competitive Senate races, Val Demings is trying to brand herself as a moderate to Florida voters. However, her record proves she would be another rubber stamp for Joe Biden and the Washington Democrats’ devastating agenda.

Demings, who was on Biden’s “short list” for Vice President, has voted in line with his policy positions 100 percent of the time.

Demings championed Biden throughout the first year of his presidency, saying that:

She also praised Biden’s first 100 days in office as “the most successful of any modern presidency,” touting his actions on the pandemic and the economy. Polling later showed how out of touch Demings was with Americans’ views on Biden’s handling of those issues.

Val Demings has very little to show for her six years in Congress, other than voting for whatever Nancy Pelosi and members of the Squad tell her to. Since joining the U.S. House of Representatives, only two bills that Demings sponsored have been signed into law.

The two bills were renaming post offices.

Despite claiming she will “fight for every Floridian,” Demings has surrounded herself with the most extreme members of her party. She has touted the support of James Carville and had him headline a fundraising event for her just one week after he called unvaccinated Americans “piece[s] of shit” and said he “would really like to” punch unvaccinated people “right in the face.”

In September 2021, Demings attended a fundraiser with liberal activist Amy Siskind, who repeatedly referred to Republicans as “America’s Taliban.”

Bottom line: Val Demings is not interested in representing all Floridians. She has and will continue to do whatever’s necessary to appease Democrats in Washington.
