Joe Biden’s Gaffes and Misstatements Culminate in Fabricated War Story

Joe Biden has made plenty of gaffes and perpetrated his share of lies throughout his decades in public office, but a breaking Washington Post report has exposed the most appalling example yet.

While recounting a harrowing war story involving a trip to Afghanistan to award the heroic actions of a brave soldier, Biden tells crowds “This is the God’s truth, my word as a Biden.”

But according to The Washington Post: “…almost every detail in the story appears to be incorrect. Based on interviews with more than a dozen U.S. troops, their commanders and Biden campaign officials, it appears as though the former vice president has jumbled elements of at least three actual events into one story of bravery, compassion and regret that never happened.”

It turns out Biden crafted this story with details from three separate events, and even lied about the number of times he’s traveled to Afghanistan. The report documents several versions that have evolved over the years, finally culminating with the most inaccurate one yet.

Running at the age of 76, Joe Biden’s presidential campaign has been marred by constant gaffes and misstatements. Known to often go off script, Biden’s comments warrant even more scrutiny as he struggles to maintain his lead.
