‘Border is Open’ Say Migrants at Border Czar Kamala Harris’ House

Days after Kamala Harris declared that the southern “border is secure,” up to 100 migrants were dropped off outside her official residence in Washington, D.C. The immigrants, who crossed the border illegally, told reporters that the border was “open.”

Reporter: “Harris said that the border is closed. Is the border closed?”

To protest the wide-open border, Republican governors including Greg Abbott, Doug Ducey, and Ron DeSantis are moving migrants to progressive areas of the country. Chicago, New York City, and now Martha’s Vineyard have all received migrants that illegally crossed the border. Democrats — who have proudly declared their towns as “sanctuary cities” — are now infuriated and overwhelmed.

Fox News: New York City Mayor Eric Adams said Wednesday that the city is at a “breaking point” due to thousands of migrants who have been sent by bus from Texas in recent weeks.

“In the last few months, we have experienced an unprecedented surge of asylum seekers arriving from the southern border,” Adams said Wednesday.

“In this new and unforeseen reality, where we expect thousands more to arrive every week going forward, the city’s system is nearing its breaking point. As a result, the city’s prior practices, which never contemplated the bussing of thousands of people into New York City, must be reassessed.”

Bottom Line: Democrats can no longer ignore the record-breaking crisis at the southern border. Border states have felt the strain from hundreds of thousands of migrants and now non-border states are starting to see how stretched resources are across the country.
