Joe Biden’s Approval Rating Drops to New Low. Kamala Harris’ is Even Lower

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ approval ratings plunged to new lows on the heels of Democrats suffering big losses and drastically underperforming in key state races nationwide. According to a USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll, support for the Biden-Harris administration — particularly among Independents — is collapsing:

  • Only 38% of Americans approve of the job Joe Biden has done as president.
  • Even fewer (28%) approve of Kamala Harris.
  • 46% say Biden has done a worse job as president than they expected, including 16% of those who voted for him in 2020.
  • 44% of Independents say he’s done worse than they expected.
  • 64% say they don’t want Biden to run for a second term in 2024, including 28% of Democrats.

You don’t have to look very far to see why Americans are rejecting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Over the course of their administration, Americans have experienced:

  • The highest gas prices in 7 years as the White House continues to declare war on American energy
  • Rising costs of everyday goods and services, making this year’s holiday festivities the most expensive yet
  • A disastrous supply chain crisis which is wiping out store shelves and forcing longer delivery times ahead of Christmas
  • Failed immigration policies resulting in a record-breaking surge of migrants to the southern border
  • A poorly planned Afghanistan withdrawal that abandoned hundreds of Americans in the Taliban-controlled country

Voters’ discontent with the Biden-Harris administration is not just isolated to off-year gubernatorial elections. It’s also spilling into down-ballot races as Congressional midterms creep into voters’ minds.

USA Today: “If the election were today, those surveyed say, they would vote for their Republican congressional candidate over the Democratic one by 46%-38%, an advantage that would bode well for GOP hopes of gaining a majority in the House and the Senate.”

Bottom line: Everything Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have touched since taking office turned into a crisis, and Americans are tired of bearing the brunt of the Democrats’ failed policies.
